About our Terrace Rooftop Bar:

The Terrace boasts sweeping skyline views and a distinctive open-air rooftop experience.

In 2019, it was proudly named Best Boutique Bar in Queensland, and in 2024, it received the Best Hotel Bar – Accommodation Division Award from the Queensland Hotels Association. That same year, The Terrace was also recognised as Best Hotel Bar by the Wotif Uniquely Aussie Awards. Continually setting the benchmark in rooftop hospitality, The Terrace remains a standout destination.

Open daily from 7 a.m. until late, The Terrace is a dynamic venue where hospitality superstars with passion and the right attitude thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide the highest level of service in all guest interactions, in line with Emporium's Service Promises

• Enter orders accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system

• Deliver meals promptly to guests and ensuring orders are correct when collected from the kitchen or bar

• Maintain clean and tidy tables, service areas, and floors in accordance with procedures

• Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard

• Take guest orders while maximising sales opportunities through strong product knowledge

• Ensure hygienic food and beverage service practices are followed at all times

• Embody an ownership mindset by taking responsibility of your assigned section and station during service

• Maintain current RSA certification and adhering to responsible service principles

• Perform opening and closing duties, as required

• Create enriching experiences for our guests by ensuring they are welcomed and served in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.

• Strong communication skills and proven ability to maintain Grace under pressure  

• A solution focused approach to problem solving

• Outstanding personal presentation

• A passion for food and beverage, with a desire to work in a five-star hotel environment

• The ability to work a rotating roster over 7-days including nights

• A current RSA and eligibility to work in Australia.
